Stopped here for a drink before having dinner next door at the Catbird Seat. Classy place. Very professional bartenders. Would definitely recommend visiting.

Great Speakeasy. Gave me a Chicago speakeasy vibe. I had a few drinks and the deviled eggs. The bartender was ok. Not very personable but friendly. He did however make a drink for me based on my preferences of vodka, Prosecco and citrus. It was delicious. The deviled eggs were premade which turned me off. They were ice cold. Would have liked to have them room temperature at least if they were going to be premade. So these were a no for me and made me decide to not try other food items. It was an experience. Glad I popped in for something different.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I most certainly would. Let me preface this with I was on a couples date and we were having too good of a time that I didn't get any pics. With that being said, this is one of the best Speakeasy spots I have ever been to. From the moment we walked in and out Host hit us with a warm greeting, I knew we were in for a treat. We came for the drinks, but did try the Loaded Tots, extremely fresh and really filling, especially if you weren't looking to eat but wanting to put something on your stomach. Let's talk about these drinks! My wife had the "Content Creator" and said it was really good. Now as for me, I've missed my calling so far on going from place to place rating their Old Fashioned (but stay tuned that's coming)...this Black Jewel Old Fashioned may be the best Old Fashioned I have had in Nashville in my 13 years here. If you love a good Old Fashioned, don't walk, run to Patterson House. Our server was nothing short of amazing! He was so dope, we couldn't stop as a group just completing his stellar service. Lastly (and the cherry on top for me), the bill is brought to you in a book, that you can leave a nice note in, AND they give you a postcard for you to fill out and they will even send it for you. Just an absolute great idea to end a dope experience. 10/10 would recommend! The Patterson House has a regular in me.

The Patterson House is known for its high-quality ingredients, crafting both modern and classic cocktails in a carefully controlled environment to provide an optimal experience for each guest. They offer a small but diverse food menu, from shareable snacks to more substantial options, with a few sweet treats to round it out. We arrived at 4:30 on a Friday and were quickly seated at a cozy booth in the bar. The ambiance was perfect--dimly lit with a stunning bar at the center. Our waiter, Pat, was amazing! He was quick to offer recommendations and expertly guided us through the menu. We enjoyed a round of whiskey sours, an Old Fashioned, and a daiquiri. Each cocktail was spot-on, perfectly balanced, and exactly what we were looking for. We also shared loaded tots and a charcuterie board, which were the perfect snacks to kick off our night. Pat truly enhanced our experience with his friendliness and attentiveness. He even recommended our next stop for the evening. We had a fantastic time, and we can't wait to return!

Very, very good cocktails. Had probably way more than I should have in a night, also stayed for 6.5 hrs ... Highlights for me were Brazilian Rum drink with Passionfruit liqueur, Sidecar Doug, Improved whiskey sour, Pitter Patter. The drinks are very classic, and the fruit and aromatics really come through. It's not modern, and it's not too classic and rough. There is an elegance and refinement to their classic riffs. Food was just ok for me, I tried the deviled eggs, brussels sprouts (these were good), smoked wings (6 small ones for $16...yea idk)

Great spot for great drinks that's not an outside bar. We walked in around 10p and sat down at the bar. We were greeted right away and our drinks were made superbly! The inside was dark and romantic, and it was nice not hearing everyone's conversation. The bartender made some of the best drinks I've ever had. So much so, I didn't even take pics...but totally recommend stopping in for a unique drink.

I highly recommend The Patterson House! Dimly lit bars that are located inside of historic buildings have a special place in my heart. I was hoping to find a good cocktail bar that was within walking distance of my hotel and this place popped up in my search results. The Patterson House and many of the other businesses on this street are located within older historic homes. It really blends in with the rest of the buildings on the street, but it is easy to find if you are taking your time. I came after 10pm on a Tuesday night and there was no wait, but many of the seats were filled up when I arrived. I could only imagine how busy this must be on the weekends. The menu has a well-organized selection of different cocktails. Some are lighter and others are more spirit-forward. I am normally more drawn to whiskey, brandy, and rum-based cocktails and I was really excited by the selection of brandy cocktails here. I ordered the Managed Democracy and loved it! They use a peanut washed brandy and add additional ingredients like rum and honey. The cocktails, service, and calm environment made for a great way to end the night. I look forward to coming back here again when I am in Nashville.

Favorite cocktail bar from our trip to Nashville. Hard to find (not well marked), but worth the search. Beautiful bar with laid back feel that you can just enjoy your company and have some amazing cocktails. Friends of ours went two weeks earlier and recommended we check it out. Told us about two bartenders there they really enjoyed encountering. One even gave them a bunch of recommendations for their visit to Nashville. When we arrived we were greeted by Pat, who was actually one of the two bartenders our friends raved about. He was awesome. Worked with us to find the perfect drinks, chatted with us (wasn't busy yet), and gave us some awesome recommendations after we told him about our plans that evening. The recommendation were a hit and we really enjoyed two spots that he mentioned, but at the end of the night we were back at Patterson House because that was our favorite. Cocktails are reasonably priced compared to some places. Tons of variety. Sorted by the main spirit in the drink. All really created and well executed. We tried about 3 drinks each and loved each one. Pat was amazing. The bartenders at the other bars he recommended love him too. Made our last night in town really special. Can't recommend Patterson House and Pat the bartender enough. We will be back on our next visit. You should check it out on yours too!

The Patterson House is probably the best speakeasy in all of Nashville for its tasty concoctions and service. I recommend getting one of their signature cocktails, sit back and bask in the atmosphere. I had the Business Drunk (a version of an Old Fashioned) and it was delicious. If you're around midtown, do not miss out on this classy joint. It's not too hard to find, but if you can't find it at first, that's just a part of the fun!
